I am hoping to get the Uma sometime next month. It is a silicone waterproof toy. I have been doing a lil bit of research and found that you should not use silicone based lubes with silicone toys, that water based lubes wash off easily in water, and that most other lubes are not safe for internal use. So what kinda of lube can I use in the bath or shower with a silicone toy that will not wash away too soon?

I personally don't need to use a lube in the shower with most of my toys, but what I would recommend is getting a high quality hybrid/silicone lube and doing a small spot test on maybe the base of the Uma. This way you know it's safe.

We've been using vegetable butter/oil based lubes for a long time with no problem - even with silicone toys. We use Yes oil-based link

Yep, I stay away from oil-based because I have the same problem.
As for a high-quality silicone-based lube that probably won't ruin your toy, the only thing I've ever tried is Pink silicone-based lube (here's my review of it). But just because it worked for me doesn't mean it will work for you, so still do a spot test.
