I have just started buying a lot of rechargeable toys. And although I love them, they aren't extremely powerful like my battery powered toys. Is this a common occurrence? I am kind of disappointed

What toys are you getting? Uma is a very powerful 5 vroom. You may want to look at the vrooms before buying any. Different motors and things even cause battery operated toys to have different powers. It's not the rechargeable parts fault.

Very true, in fact today's Li-Ion batteries are twice as strong as regular batteries. They will last longer too with proper care.

the only toys I find stronger are wired bullets, otherwise rechargeables are almost always stonger- though the bigger the battery the stronger the toy- hence why its so hard to find a strong battery powered bullet that lasts beyond one use (jimmyjane iconic rocks!)
