Quiet Vibrator

Contributor: Mariye Mariye
I just got my first vibrator in the mail today, and noticed that it's quite loud. While fun, the noise is a big concern, since I'm in a dorm room!

What's a good vibrator that won't be heard through a closed door? (Preferably a G-spot vibe.)

Forum highlights on Quiet vibrators:

Do you have "quiet times" when you don't really care what's up, just shut the whole world out?
Other than my OnlyMaster and O/our lil mutt I often do so, and it is incredibly relaxing... What about you?

What makes quiet vibes so quiet?
I see all these really strong vibrators ( and even own a few ) yet they are just SO quiet! Does anyone know what needs to be done to make them quiet?.

Do you need it totally quiet or dark when you sleep?
I used to only be able to fall asleep with the TV on, and my partner could only fall asleep with it dark and totally quiet in the room. It drove me...

Beginner needing quiet vibrator
Hey I want to buy my first vibrator, but I live in a dorm with three other girls and have very thin walls. Even though we are all girls here I would.

Strongest, Quietest Vibe You Know Of?
Hi everyone! I have what some might call a clit of steel, so I prefer vibes with four or five vrooms, yet I also live in a college dorm, so it has to.

This one, the G-Spot 2 Tone, link is really quiet. I just reviewed it. The tip is pretty firm though.

I'll recommend anything by Lelo (Iris, Gigi, Liv, Elise: these can all be used for g-spotting). There's a slight high-pitched whine when you first turn Lelo vibes on, but they're very quiet and plenty powerful!

Usually, the higher quality, the more quiet the motor will be. Sucks right, I'm in a dorm too but I've gotten pretty resourceful.

Perhaps instead of trying to find a quiet one for bedroom use, you could look for a waterproof one for shower use? The water should mask the sound pretty well.
