Does anyone think this is pricey for what it does, or is it a lot better than cheaper versions? If you have any suggestions for cheaper products, I'm interested to hear your opinion (:

Is this a good price/value?

I think the Salsa and Tango are better. They may be plastic, but the silicone does collect lint. All these we-vibes are pretty darn strong, waterproof and rechargeable. They are some of the best value/price toys with these qualities.

I think it's a fair price for a strong, quiet, rechargeable vibrator made of body safe materials. You're mostly paying for research and development with the cleverer toys, but they do the job well, and you save in the long run because you don't have to buy batteries or replace the toy when it breaks.

I think it is a decent value for what you get. It's one of those things you will only know if you try it out. Sometimes when you go for cheaper things the materials and quality is cheaper also.
It's really a delicate balancing act for the consumers!

I haven't heard of the Salsa, thanks for letting me know. But I have seen the Tango, it looks pretty awesome (:

It is absolutely expensive, I agree with you. I've had mine for a LONG time, it gets a LOT of use, and it is 100% functioning as well as it was on day 1. I highly recommend it, and think it's worth every penny.

Yes it is expensive, but in this case I think you get what you pay for. All of the "higher quality" vibes of this type are about the same price or a bit more. I have had mine for a year now and LOVE it. It was money well spent.

If it is going to last you might as well pay a little more just like anything else in life if you buy cheap sometimes you regret it

I have had mine for over a year, it was worth every penny. Just a reminder it needs to hang upside down to charge.

In a way, I do think it's worth it. The vibrations feel amazing. It's powerful and rumbly.
Then, on the other hand, the charging system is kind of a pain in the ass, and it doesn't hold a charge for a very long. And the silicone is a major lint magnet. Even with those flaws, I'd still buy another one if mine broke.

I don't own any We-Vibe products to judge their quality... but I've paid significantly more some of my recent toys. But agree with some of the other comments, for a rechargeable, safe material, and strong vibrator that seems like a reasonable price.
I do know that the We-Vibe 4 Plus had reviews about the materials being a bit grippy and not enjoyable as a couple's toy, including resulting in bleeding of the penis from use, so I opted for alternatives and have loved them.
The toy has quite a few reviews, so I would definitely recommend reading all of them and weighing the pros/cons from the reviews and see if there are any red flags/problems with the toy from the reviews that is a deal breaker for you.
