My siri broke TWICE - what else should I try?

I'm really disappointed right now. Back in late 2011 I bought a Lelo Siri vibrator. I really loved the orgasms I got from it - it was just so perfect for me. But after 2 weeks it quit working (specifically, the motor started to sputter and lose power - even when fully charged). I sent it in to be replaced under warranty and the new one did the same thing (unless of course they sent me back the same one). I don't know if I did something wrong with it or what (How exactly do you use a vibrator wrong? I wasn't being rough/dropping/submerg ing it or anything!) but I was so bummed.

I was shopping again for something to replace the Siri and saw the Je Joue Mimi Gen 1 on sale so I thought I'd try that. But while this toy is plenty powerful the shape just isn't doing it for me like the Siri did. I just can't get a good strong orgasm with it no matter how I try to use it!

Now I'm completely stumped because I'm scared to spend a bunch more money on different things that aren't going to work for me - and the reviews don't seem to help because I bought both the Siri and the MiMi based on the reviews I read!

I need a vibrator that is pretty strong but I'm also learning that shape is important. The best way I can describe what I think is going on with the Siri that I like is that there is a broad area to it but it's still got a bit of a wedge shape on the bottom side to get into my nooks and crannies. The Mimi has either the flat surface or the very narrow edge/tip which is just TOO fine of a point for me, I think. There might be something different about the quality of vibrations but I don't know.

Can anybody suggest something to me that's similar to the Siri in strength and shape but is more durable? I know they all pretty much use the same cheap internal parts but maybe some other brand puts them together better? I'm just so frustrated about this and I really NEED a good vibrator ASAP!

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

I usually vote Mimi or Uma since it's stronger than Mimi, but I don't know about the shape you need. Good luck!

Wow that's a bummer, I would definitely try sending it back again. I've had mine about a year and a half and haven't had that sort of trouble with my Siri even with almost daily use.

Supposing you choose not to send it back again, you may want to look at some vibes not intended for clitoral use and just use them on your clit to find that shape.

If you definitely want a clitoral vibe, you could try the leaf spirit link

It's not the same shape, but the way it's curved, you may be able to hit the spot with it more easily. I think if you were to use it with the curve going away from you it might mimic the effect siri has.

Keep in mind I'm just looking at shapes though. I don't have either of these vibes so I can't compare actual functionality for you.

Hm. Yeah I never heard anything about Siri quitting like this - the only issue with sending is back again is that I live on Guam so I can only ship it out by priority mail. Granted that's only another $6 or so but still. 0_o

I've sort of been wondering if perhaps the Siri is being somehow adversely affected by the high humidity here... It shouldn't happen but I have known different electronics to behave weirdly in humid climates...

Hm, I've looked at the Uma but wasn't sure what to make of it. I'm definitely keeping it in mind though!

That Spirit is about the most similar to Siri's shape that I've seen, but WHEW is it ever expensive... I'd hate to get it and have it not be right for me like the MiMi or quit working like the Siri.... >_>

I've had other types of vibes over the years (I had a couple of bullets that broke after a while, a Bswish Bgood which became too noisy to use after about 6 months and right now I have some gspot thing from california exotics that is very pinpoint-y). Some I've liked and some not so much but I've never had anything as good as the Siri!

Thanks for the input!

Yowch, I just looked at the review for the Spirit and with a short battery life like that I don't think it would work for me at all! I need more than an hour's battery life in my toys. So I guess Spirit is a no-go for me.

I have one but I recently got Mimi and I like it MUCH better. I have the 3 button Mimi but you can get the 2 button one also. Well actually the 3 button one is on sale now about 5 bucks or so more than the other but the sale ends the May 4th
link

then there is the 2 button version which has been on sale for some time, I think they may be discontinuing it but there are still some pink left
link

Uma is good too and can be used externally and internally, I like it.

If you just want external you should also check out the We-Vibes, I have Salsa and Tango
link
and
link

dont have this yet but want it

I have the MiMi Gen 1 but unfortunately I don't really like it.
