Malfunction?

Hello, I am new here and also purchased my first toy ever. I got the "Nite Warmer" and went to use it in the shower, and within 5 minutes it already started malfunctioning.

It's suppose to be waterproof, yet it won't turn on/off nor change speed/rhythm. The only time it stops vibrating is when I pop the batteries out, and sometimes even with them in, the vibrator has to take a tap to vibrate.

I am very disappointed, and have no sure-way to return it (as I have no ride), so if there's something that I can do myself to fix, I'd appreciate any help.

What I did notice earlier was the inside (where the batteries go) was moist even though I never opened the cap inside the shower. I've changed batteries too.

Any suggestions?

Is it just me or does this toy seem to malfunction a lot in the review and such. Why would you list a toy as waterproof when all the reviews I have read say it malfunctions when in contact with water. Just my opinion, but I wouldn't want to shell out my own cash on a toy I knew was going to break.

I've had my Nite Warmer a few days and I noticed the same thing. When I was in the shower with it I opened it and noticed that steam had gotten into the toy. Though the cap to the battery keeps out water there is no water tight seal to the battery compartment which allows vapor from steam in to the batteries. Upon further looking at the toy you can see there is a hole in the battery compartment to the motor. Though it is "waterproof" I personally wouldn't recommend it because of the lack of seal steam from a hot bath or shower can get through and make the water proofing ineffective.
