I just got the Fairy Mini yesterday, waiting for review to go up as approved. Overall I liked it, but wands tend to be VERY noisy on their higher speeds. Plug-in wands are ideal if you don't want to be victim of a dying rechargable in the heat of a play session. Just be careful you don't yank plugin's out of the wall.

The Smart Wand series are both actually very quiet. So if sound is your issue, then I would recommend them. They're even waterproof, and rechargeable. They do sort of lack in power though compared to the ones that plug into the wall.

The original BodyWand is as strong as the Hitachi but I think it's much prettier, and I also like that the vibration strength is adjustable.

I'm scared of the Hitachi. I have the Mystic Wand Rechargeable and it's too strong for direct use, but it's a good size to maneuver to the base of a toy, and it gives good shoulder massages. It's my choice due to the silicone.

Oh, I hate that feeling! You get all excited and then NOTHING!
