The Inpsire is not as loud as the Hitachi (though it still is loud and can be heard through a door). It also has a bit of a rattle to it.

Not quiet enough if you live with thin walls....best bet is to find a quieter solution.

ive really been thinking about buying a wand, my luck i have thin walls so id have to be careful with that, have you heard any comments on this site of a wand that might be quieter for, say, someone with roomates and thin walls?
