I've read many reviews on this site for several different jelly products and many of them say that jelly is harmful to your body. Is this true? If it is true then how can they make toys from that material if it is not safe to use it?

Here you will find the Material Guide that covers the differences between all toy materials, and here you find the page for Jelly.

Jelly is not necessarily a harmful material; some people may have an allergic reaction to it, some may not. Material reactions are not uncommon for anything that comes into contact with your skin. The bottom line with Jelly is that the material costs allows for less expensive products. Most of the people who review on Eden have experience with many toys and have moved on to higher costing - higher quality materials such as Silicone.

Everyone's body is different. I can't use Jelly toys because I am allergic to them. Just because some people can't use it does not mean they should stop making or selling it.

The jelly material is porous, and in some cases they are toxic. The manufacturer avoids issues by stating "for novelty use only".
