Is being waterproof an important feature for a toy?
12/14/2012
Needing to be cautious when washing things annoys me.
12/14/2012
Definitely important! My wife and I like to play in the shower.

I prefer it to be waterproof, but it's not a big deal if it's not. I will buy a non-waterproof toy if I like the other features enough.

It's important to me, because it means that cleaning toys are hassle-free.
12/15/2012
I like the feature but some toys I don't need that feature.

I love waterproof toys. I frequently take them in the shower with me.

I don't use my toys in water all that often, but it's a convenient feature.
12/15/2012
All my new toys are waterproof - only have a couple of old toys that are not.
12/15/2012
Yes it is, not because i want to trow iy in the pull, but it just safer to use and more convenient to clean
12/15/2012
It's really important to me.

We like them, but if you don't plan to use it in the shower, bathtub, etc, and you're careful cleaning it, you shouldn't let a toy not being waterproof scare you away.

I definitely prefer waterproof toys! It's easier to clean them and I loooooove shower/bath time

Very important cause I like to use them in the shower

I generally go for waterproofing. Normally this just amounts to some kind of silicone o-ring on the battery compartment, but lube and various other fluids can get messy really quickly, and I hate it when I get attached to toys and then they short out on me.

How important is waterproofing to you? I find that it's a good safety and cleaning feature, but what about in the actual use of the toy? Does waterproofing influence your purchase?
Plus, it's easier to thoroughly wash something if you know it's waterproof.

I much prefer waterproof toys for practical reasons - makes washing them much easier.

We love playing in the hot tub.

I don't use toys in the shower, so while waterproof toys are easier to clean, it's not a requirement. I have methods of keeping things dry while cleaning them, so it's all good.

Very important

Easier To Clean So Yes

I love waterproof toys!

It is for me. I want to know that if I feel like grabbing one for the shower that I don't have to stop and think about which one is okay. Also, it makes cleaning so much easier!

It's never been a deal-breaker for something I wanted but most good toys are waterproof now anyway. We don't play in the shower and my first toys were all not waterproof, so I got used to cleaning carefully. I've only ever had one mishap: I dropped a cheap classic vibrator into the tub. I was sure I'd killed it, but it actually worked fine once it was dried out and had fresh batteries...

waterproof all the way. more fun and easier to clean
12/16/2012
Easier to clean too.

I strongly prefer waterproof. I bought moka to have a waterproof version of gigi, but it's not nearly as good. I do wish there was a waterproof gigi!!!
12/16/2012
There are some toys we have that I wish were waterproof. But it isn't a deal breaker when we're purchasing.

I never use toys in the bath/shower, but I do like waterproof toys because it makes me feel less nervous when cleaning them.

Feature is nice, but it's not necessary. However, it does make for the cleaning of said toy easier.
