I was thinking about Tentacle and Tentacle Jr, and because I have a lot of deep-sea themed decor in my room (and I anything that glows in the dark) I wondered how many people actually leave their toys out as decoration. Because if I ever get these two, I'm fairly certain that is what I am doing (taking into account that if I actually want them to glow in the dark, they will need to absorb light first anyway).
Have you ever left aesthetically pleasing toys out just to look at?

Ha ha. No. No way. My things need to stay hidden. And if you like the tentacles and have a sea decor, don't forget the jellyfish dildo!

Well I guess you'd have to clarify your definition of "left out", I've left toys out on the master bathroom counter as well as bedside table. Never out on the coffee table in the living room though. Of course with my eighteen year old son still living at home my GF and I don't have sex out in the living room anyway... at least not yet.

I wouldn't leave any around the house either! haha. Just my room. And I DO want the jellyfish dildo! If only glowed in the dark like these two.

I could easily see someone leaving one of the many awesome looking glass toys out though

YES! I have my eye on one of the Icicles, it looks like a unicorn horn. I would definitely leave that out as well.

Is that for hygienic purposes, or because your toys are all too conspicuous to pass as decorations?

I don't live alone so no but even if I did I wouldn't leave them out if I had company around or something. I have some pretty ones to look at but I don't want anyone else knowing I have them lol.

It's not exactly out in the open, but I display my metal and glass toys on a shelf in my bathroom. They're just too beautiful to hide.

I have all my toys in a drawer in my bedroom. Some of them are too expensive to risk leaving out in the open.

If you don't' care who sees it then go for themed toys. Have fun with it, as long as you are okay with accepting the reactions.

Yeeeah I have before.
01/29/2012
I only put them away when the maids come otherwise they are laid out to gaze upon. They are so pretty!!!
01/29/2012
I have kids in the house so that's impossible for me to do.
01/29/2012
I see my toys as toys, not nasty items to be sequestered away into some dark, shameful drawer or closet. I like having them out when it's feasible.
01/29/2012
no, cant say I have before.
01/29/2012
Nope, my kid would show way too much interest in something like if left out and I'd be afraid of it breaking or something.

Not really, sometimes my partner and I leave toys out in the open for each other to discover (kind of hint, like, use this on me tonight), but otherwise everything stays put away.
01/29/2012
No, they look way too creepy for me
01/29/2012
Tenga 3d (Pile) This thing not only works great but looks great. I love the case it is stored in and it's artistic.
01/29/2012
I'd like to keep toys out (I understand about those tentacles!), but I have enough stuff around my house to put away when family comes over already. I would prefer that people didn't have much to see about my sex life because I like my privacy. When I move far away I might leave some pretty ones out. But there is the problem of dust. I just thought of that. I'm sure most (not all!) dust is harmless, but I would want to wash the toy well every time I used it. Also, some glass items would make me nervous being out.

I sometimes take out my Nob Essence toy just to look at it. It is amazingly beautiful. I don't leave it out unless I am there, though.
02/21/2012
I voted Uhm because I haven't so for, but might for something cool like one of the Tentacles or one of the crystal-cut glass ones.
03/02/2012
I do it with my pretty glass toys!
03/02/2012
I live alone, so I display new toys I'm excited about until I get over it and want the shelf space for something else.
