I recently talked to a friend and she let me know that her mom and sister threw out $300 bucks worth of her favorite toys. Supposedly they popped up as she was cleaning them. She had them laid out on the bed in her bedroom. Her mom and sister went into the room while she made them some lunch and they threw them out. She didn't realized they were gone until her mom and sister just left abruptly. Her mom later called and said they threw them out because they aren't lady like.
I am so appalled by this! I would never invade my sister or mother's room and violate their pricey. Let alone throw away their property that I did not purchase. Even if I did it is now theirs because I gave it as a gift.
Has this happened to anyone else?

That would be the last time my mother or sister were welcome in my home. That is unacceptable, I don't care what your beliefs are. What goes on in another person's home is their business, if you disagree then don't go over!
...and to think she was being a great hostess and making THEM lunch? Mmmmm just makes my blood boil thinking about it!
