FunFanctory Click N Charge Technology Problems

I just received one of these today.

Charging seemed easy enough to just magnet it to charge. The light was a bit finicky but I set it up so it was always on. It has been like that for a few hours and I still can't turn the toy on...anyone else have problems?

Adriana I read your review (: link), and it seems I did what you did. Any suggestions?

I have the Spring and bubbles and have never had any problems once I get the magnet situated so it stays connected.

Both turn on as soon as I press (and hold a bit) the up/on button.

Do they turn on when attached to the cord as well? I can't get it to turn on AT ALL.

They do not turn on when attached to the cord. And you cannot attach the magnet / cord when they are turned on. The toy must be off to charge. And the toy must be disconnected from the charger in order to turn it on.

I had tried both.

I now can turn it on. It seems that I have to hold the button down a long time to turn it on and off, much longer than other toys I have. This may have been the issue, or maybe it wasn't charged long enough?

In either case...holy crap this thing is powerful!

Thanks for the help girls!

I think the button thing is because you simply do need to hold it down for a while + the position BENEATH the silicone (which I do not personally lovE).

It really is kind of weird. It takes a long time and when I do the same for turning it off, I have to do it twice. Once to make it this low vibe that is barely noticeable and another to turn it off. Small issue. I love it!

I have the bubbles vibe. I need to hold it down for about 3 seconds or so to get it to turn on. I do know that I tried turning it on while charging for like 30 min before I realized it has to be disconnected to turn on.

The only issue I had was that the magnet is a little finicky, but I figure no batteries=I don't care about a little quirk while charging.

I actually like that it's a little "harder" (for lack of a better word) to turn on, because I hate when I graze a button and it changes the pattern or turns off on me! So, I see the having to hold it down for a few seconds as a good thing. Plus, less chance of turning in when being bumped in your toy bin or while traveling.

I wish it were slightly easier to turn on. Or maybe just not beneath the silicone like it is. It's really hard with my fingernails sometimes.

I just love the German enginering of Fun Factory toys!! The motors are reliable, don't bog down and off is off! and on is on!! No mistakes...I love that part of Fun Factory products.

The only issue I've had with my Delight Click 'n' Charge is the charger is finicky. You have to get it stick just right or it won't charge.

The other weird thing is it says to charge until the red light on the charger turns off. Well I charged mine for hours! Somewhere around 9 hours I believe, and the light never turned off. I'm figuring this is just a bug with my particular charger, because it works at what I believe is full capacity.

Oh I totally agree. I don't want anything like those touch eggs by Cal Exotics (I think). I was just worried at first! Got it now

You have to detach the cord, in my experience.

I was really excited about the click n charge technology. I'm kinda sad it isn't living up to my high aspirations for it. I'm still looking forward to a new funfactory toy though.

I have the cobra libre with a click and charge, and it seems fine. Ask an expert at the top of the website.. they can check it out. I'm assuming your toy isn't broken or you haven't done anything to it. some toys require a full charge 1st, or to not leave a charge in it for a long time while not using... or for you to hold the power button instead of pressing it to start it up, etc... So need to check your manual.

I am having a problem where I used my Big Boss until the battery quit on me (about 30 mins) and now it wont charge (it would charge before...) I am not sure if it's defective or what, since it did work before. Unhappy!

I work ( occasionally) at a store that sells a ton of fun factory, I personally love them, ocean and calla especially and we have someone return one on warranty about once a month. The warranty is always upheld and quickly but yes this is a common problem. My ocean stopped working about 6 months after I bought it and had to be replaced. Finicky chargers are an issue too

I had a funfactory and it came with a charger that never worked. I bought a second one, and the red light on the base works, but won't charge the toy! I'm getting so frustrated with this company and these products considering how much the cost. Now I have two defective toys!! How long is the warranty??
