very expensive - when it's out of stock it's 80 and then once it's in stock it gets whopped up to the 112 mark. does this mean it's possible to preorder while it's out of stock?
sorry if this is an obvious question - i am a huge noob.

There is no option to pre-order or get a rain check on a sale price. However, you can set an alert on the product page to notify you by email when the item is back in stock and when a new promotion is available for it. Click on the bell icon on the right side of the page to set alerts.

Probably just an error on the system - you cannot pre-order. Simply set an alert to mail you when they get it back in stock and voila, the system will remind you when it's back on the shelf. Only trust the price then.
