Does noise distract you?

While using a vibrator and it is particularly noisy does the noise distract you from your fantasising? For me it does. Is anyone else the same?

Depends on who might be listening...I have three kids all living at home so ya a noisy toy can make it difficult to relax and enjoy. If I am with my partners or completely alone then it doesn't matter to me and the though of a stranger hearing can actually be a turn on...

I don't really get into the fantasizing stuff, but it does distract me from enjoying it sometimes because I like to focus on what my partner is doing and I don't like the thought of someone hearing the buzz. Lol

It does sometimes. What really distracts me is when air gets stuck.. "in there" and I can hear it everytime he.. pushes >_> lol

If it's too loud, I can't relax because I'm worried others might hear.

Yes, sometimes it will. It's more so a case of someone may hear. Although, I was very distracted by the noise of the Fairy Baby Wand - even when I had the house to myself!

That is my problem as well. I have several roommates so I can't enjoy it if I think they can hear me.

External noise sometimes distracts me. I don't like the TV on while we're having sex. I don't even like music on. Light distracts me even more. My Man sometimes likes to leave porn on the TV while we have sex, and even the light from the TV bothers me sometimes. I was thinking about getting a light blocking mask, but he loves to look at my face when we have sex, so that's not going to work for us.

I do worry about the kids hearing us. I'm not quiet. But, we run a white noise machine AND a vaporizer in the hallway. It covers a lot of noise. However, loud vibrators drive me crazy. They are capable of making them pretty quiet, so I don't see why some have to be so loud.

Usually. If the toy is magical enough I can sometimes ignore the noise, but more often it's the noise that stops a toy from being magical.

My favourite is a rechargeable version (/knock-off) of the Hitatchi - I'm able to overlook noise if there's enough va-voom in the toy. *grin*

As to others hearing...well, my dorm-mates knew that I wanked, so I was never particularly self-conscious there; now that I live with my SO he usually participates in me getting off, so I certainly don't mind if he hears. And the neighbors...? Eh, I have to hear them have sex, so this is only fair. *laughs*

Sometimes. I don't live alone and sometimes I worry my roommates can hear a noisy toy.

For me it's more of an issue of living in a dorm and not knowing at what volume things become audible next door or outside in the hallway. I get really pre-occupied worrying about who might hear me.

As long as I'm sure no one else will hear, it doesn't bother me at all.

I have several roommates, none of whom are very open about sexuality, so any noise that could be heard through the sheets tends to distract me because I worry they might hear.

If it is high pitched and whiny then the noise annoys me. The only other time the noise distracts me is if I think someone might hear it. Otherwise noise doesn't bother me.

If my fiancee and I are alone it doesn't matter, but if there's other people around then we definitely reach for the quieter toys.
