No I haven't
Do you think of your toys as having a gender?
07/01/2011
I do that.... but since i am Russian... all words in Russian language have gender....like "car" - she, and "computer" - he.
07/02/2011
mostly "its"

I don't really think of them in terms of gender, but sometimes find myself describing them as "shes." So many of them have feminine names.

Also, this whole question amuses me. I feel like our vibrator/dildo collections have replaced childhood stuffed animals as pseudo-living totem objects.

They're its, though I usually refer to them by the manufacturer's name to reduce confusion.

My Ella and Alia (or any toy with a girly name) are called "she." My Spur is a "he" - any future realistic toys will probably get the same treatment. Otherwise, my toys are just "it," though occasionally even the genderless ones get called "you" after a romp. All my toys, gender or no, are often also referred to by their product name.

All of my toys are 'it's' ---except for Lone Star, which is a he. Perhaps because it's my only realistic dildo?
07/07/2011
I don't call any toys he or she.
07/07/2011
I never considered my toys as having a gender, I have to admit
07/20/2011
I call most of my vibrators 'she', but the realistic toys I call 'he' and the non-realistic dildos I call 'it'.
07/20/2011
i just don't
07/21/2011
The only one that has a name is the hitachi which has been named vibratorzilla
07/21/2011
I refer to almost all toys as "he" or "She"... My little MiMi is a girl.

I don't genderize my toys, accept the Ina. I also avoid getting toys with people's names, like Hannah Harper, or O2 Adam, etc.
07/24/2011
Mine are mostly "he" lol
07/24/2011
Rarely, but sometimes. Only if it's a really realistic dildo or such, generally
07/24/2011
My toys, even though they are representative of the genitalia posessed by those who identify as certain genders, are nongendered. I call most of them "it" unless I'm feeling cutesy and say "him" or "this guy." I tend to think of sex toys as male, even if the model number is female.
07/24/2011
Nope.
07/30/2011
I call them it's, and rarely by their official names, just 'the blue one' or whatever. I'm weird. xD
07/30/2011
Yes, guilty... my toys do have genders
08/01/2011
Most of my toys are pink so they are shes
08/06/2011
I do not call any of my toys "she" or "he".

It never even crossed my mind to genderize (is that a word?) my toys. Sometimes I might refer to a toy as "that little guy over there" but that's more related to how I talk in general. I don't think I've ever referred to a toy as "that gal". Even typing it just now felt a little awkward.

no ,but I give them names. I named one after my bf because it matches his size and girth.
08/19/2011
No. I don't like referring to my toys as humans or a certain gender. I might say "this little guy's powerful!" and I often say she in my reviews because it's easier than typing out it's entire name, but I don't really call them he or she.
08/19/2011
I dont give them a gender.
