As I look at vibes,dildos,plugs and other toys I see quite afew that I just wanna say ouch to just by looking at them,and wonder are they actually pleasureable and I just am not open minded? I also cant help but wonder on some of the really different ones..how do you use that?!(If its not obvious).

So my question is do you wonder the same? Are you like me and am more attracted to tradional or do you experiment with different designs and shapes of toys? If you are open minded and own some of the more freaky toys were you pleasantly suprised at how enjoyable they were or did they actually turn out to be uncomfortable and hurt?

If a toy has a strange design, I read the reviews to get a sense of how it's used. If that still doesn't enlighten me, then I just don't buy it. Different people have different anatomies and what works for me might not work for someone else, so why worry?

Everyone has slightly (or really heavily) different sensory experiences and likes and dislikes.

I happen to like textured toys. Most people say "ouch" when they see heavily textured toys like the Tsunami or even more, the Taffy Tickler G Toy but, I think they're fun.



However, I really don't like tentacle type toys. (They are too tapered at the tip, I am imagining.)

I always wonder, esp the bumpy anal toys. To me, that can't feel good, but I guess someone out there would like it. No, it's not that you are, or aren't open minded, it's just that you know what you like and maybe don't like. Some of the toys I see just make me laugh.

If a toy seems really strange to me, I read the reviews. Even if I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like the toy, sometimes I'm just curious how it's used or what people think about it. If there are at least a few reviews, usually that clarifies things pretty well. Some strange looking toys end up being really interesting. Different strokes for different folks. As P'Gell said, everyone has different sensory preferences. I usually read AT LEAST 1 positive and 1 negative review to get a more well-rounded view of the item.

If I see a weird toy, I definitely head to the reviews first. Some toys, like the Cone or Cleo, are hard to figure out by just looking at them. I don't think I've really seen a toy where I just think "ouch!" but I've definitely seen some that are like how?
