Has anyone had issues with defective MiMi's? Another contributor informed me she had 4 defective ones. Anybody else?
Any issues with defective MiMi's?

Anything electronic can be defective, that's just life. But seeing as that company has an awesome warranty, I wouldn't worry about it, aside from possibly choosing a different shipping method in the future, just on the off chance some sort of giant magnet was attacking my shipments.

My Mimi is perfect, but I cycled through 3 defective Umas (same company) before giving up on her. Eden Fantasys was great about exchanges and ultimately a refund.

I got 2 defective MiMis, which put me off buying anything from Je Joue. Yes, you can return them and exchange them, but personally I'd rather not have the hassle of boxing up and going out of my way to the shipping center and all that and just get something that works right off.

I had one defective Generation 1 Mimi but not the newest generation.

Oh no! Hopefully my Uma comes and works out fine!

I got my MiMi and in the past week she has been getting louder and louder. It is almost time for to get exchanged! No problems with my UMA.

I've not had any problems with my MiMi or my Uma. And I've used them both a LOT and really put them through their paces.
Sometimes, we tend to hear about more defective products when an item is really, really popular. More people are buying it, so the chances of someone getting a defective one are higher. This is just a working theory I have.

I tend to agree with you, I am sure that Eden has sold hundreds if not thousands of the MiMi.

True, they do move a lot of them, but I wonder if that's really the problem when you get multiple people getting multiple defective items in a row.

I've had my Mimi for nearly a year now, and so far, no problems at all. I also have Uma and Fifi from the same line -- no defects.

Four defective Mimis?! That's crazy. I don't have one but I did have problems with Uma (which I returned). I want to order Mimi eventually but the quality seems a bit iffy so I don't know...

I had an issue with one of my MiMi's and one of my Umas--but I've purchase three MiMis and two Umas, so those are pretty decent odds.
