Defective Jopen Envy line

*sigh* SUPER disappointed here.

I got the Envy Three from here with a nice discount...It works, at least, but after about 15 minutes of use it's noticeably quite warm to the touch in the center, where the motor is. Then if you should continue to use it past 20 minutes? It's so warm that it is obviously quite warm whilst inserted. THAT concerned me. (I have an Njoy Pure Wand, and after a session using it, the Pure Wand is quite warm to the touch, hot even, because it warmed up to my internal body temp and my hands are accustomed to room temp, so if I can feel the hot vibrator while it's in me, it's pretty dang hot).

I got the Envy One from another retailer to review....and it's DOA. I charged it for hours, the light blinked furiously but it would never unlock/turn on.

I contacted Jopen directly (which was NOT easy) to ASK if I was missing something with the One, if the heat of the Three was not an issue....and I got no answers. Just told to start the warranty return process, and this time they'd "waive the fee", which raised my eyebrows. Apparently it's a $10 fee per item to get a warranty replacement. As if the initial cost of the Envy line isn't high enough. Plus, it'll take 2-3 weeks for your replacement to arrive AFTER they've received and processed your send back. Since I'm on the East Coast and Jopen is California, it'll take the full amount of time probably, so would be 3-4 weeks total.

Has anybody else gotten a defective Jopen Envy?

Uh oh...

I guess I'll know soon; I was just assigned the Envy Three as my milestone assignment.. I'll update you once it arrives.

Seems like there's a lot of problems with the Envy line. If I remember correctly, there's another thread about problems with these.

This makes me sad.

I should be getting my Envy Three early next week... and I am sad that it might not work right!

There are problems with several Jopen lines, and they just get swept under the carpet.

My Envy One was acting the same way with charging. Kept blinking and never charged at all. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed that this is happening with a company that is so well known for having high quality products. So sorry to hear you're having issues as well.

On top of my Envy, my Pyxis is also not charging. When connected and ready for charge, it lights up for only a second and won't remain lit. No matter how I connect it, disconnect, reconnect, etc. it also won't charge.

Not sure if I'll splurge on another item from Jopen after this.

Ugh...Bummer. I know how excited you were for the Pyxis.....how sad is it to wait this whole time and then it won't charge.

Wow I am glad I didn't have the funds to splurge on these. Hopefully they get it fixed and I think its insane that you are charged $10 for a warranty fee. Luckily with the one you got from Eden you can return to them for FREE and get a refund or another shipped out.

Mine should be here tomorrow, Monday at the latest (gotta love UPS expedited whatever it's called. Been sitting in a city and hour away from me for TWO days not moving!) but it sounds like I'll be returning it for a refund and just say to heck with the Pyxis and saving for the smaller Envy.
