I haven't bought anything on buyout because I've been waiting for the Zini Ran to come back in stock to use it. It's supposed to be "early this month" but I don't know exactly when.

Now I see on the new products page that Je Joue has the Uma. You guys, I LOVE Je Joue products! The silicone is to die for. I need this now! But I just know if I use my buyout the Ran will come back in stock tomorrow or something and I'd be scared not to buy it right away for fear it would sell out and be out of stock for another three months.

What should I do? Should I hold out to get Uma until the Ran is back and buyout on both? That seems to make the most sense but I'm a really impatient person and I don't know if I can stand it! Ack!!

If money does not factor into your decision, I would get the Uma now since it is available. Even if the Ran comes back in stock, you can get it as a buyout as soon as you complete your Uma review. My experience has been to get things when they are available. I'm guessing the Uma will be very popular and will probably be unavailable soon too.

Good point. Though last time the Ran came back in stock it sold out in about an hour.

I just heard the Ran should be end of this week or beginning of next. So I doubt I could finish the Uma review by then with testing time, photo editing, and writing time.

I was going to make a post about the Uma as well, but you beat me to it. I want you to get the Uma now and do a buyout for it and write a review and tell me how it compares to the G-ki since you already had me convinced I had to have the G-Ki. Now I don't know which one I want. On a more serious note, I agree with Kindred I'd get the Uma now as a buy out because you can always pick up the Ran after you submit the review on the Uma. This way you're not waiting with nothing new to play with.

Like Kindred I say if money isn't a factor wait till the end of the week for the Ran then get both in a buyout.

Unfulfilled - LOL! I knew someone was going to chime in wanting a G-Ki comparison. I can almost promise Uma doesn't have enough curve for my G spot. I just like curves and use them as my "traditional" vibrator set. I seriously doubt Uma will do it for my G spot.

tripod - I guess I'm worried Uma will sell out quick. And I'm antsy. So the week wait is gonna kill me.

Also, I remembered I have a 20% code. So I could do 20% Uma and hold my buyout for Ran and do 30% on that or hold off for both granted that Uma doesn't sell like a hot cake.

Maybe because it's because I personally prefer clit vibes for the time being, but I would recommend the Ran. However, if you're worried that the Uma is going to run out, buy it! They are both made by excellent companies and should make for a good investment.

I'm not sure if Uma will sell out. I know Mimi sells out a lot but that's pretty much the most recommended toy on the forums. LOL. I guess it depends on what the stock is on Uma and that's anyone's guess.

My personal impression is that high end products seem to have a lower inventory, but maybe that's just me.

I've noticed that as well. They seem to sell faster. Maybe demand is higher? Or supply lower. Either way.

My first thought when I saw the Uma was that it's like a Pinocchio version of Mimi. Have they even said whether it's dual-motored or single-motored yet?

I think you'll wind up making the decision that suits your style best---but if I was in your shoes, I'd do the 20% off coupon for the Uma and save the buyout for the Ran. Especially if you're picky about colors (I know I am...), acting fast on these high-value, low-inventory items is going to make things easier for you.

A lot of times I'll settle for a 25% or 20% discount in order to not have to be pressured to do a review immediately. Sometimes I feel like I put out better reviews when they're not on a deadline. (That said, sometimes I just ... never put up the review, like the Smooth S Shape...)

Anyway, I hope you love them both!

I do the same thing. I'll always do 20%-25% sale over a buyout. I hate to be pressured into a review. I have a lot of items I just haven't reviewed for one reason or another. Plus I like to pick my own pace for what I want to review next. I do buyouts very rarely.

I'd love to see a review for the Smooth S from you.

Wait!

If I was in your shoes, I would wait on this one just a little bit, until the Leafs come out, and then use your 20% coupon on either a Leaf and the Ran or a Leaf and the Uma, and your buyout on the third one.

The 20% can be used more than once. So I can use the 20% now and still use it so long as it is still active at the time the Leaf line launches.

So now what is the recommendation? lol

Ah! Is it a "once you activate it it's active for a week" thing, or a "from Dec. 1 through Dec 13th" thing?

Either way, okay. Since Umas and Rans are the same price, do your buyout now on the Uma. Usually if you order equal to or less than Wednesday you can have something arrive before the weekend, so that'll give you a fair amount of time to get that, learn how it works, and have a review formulated. Then use you 20% on the Ran when it gets here (because 20% on one and 30% on the other means you're still spending $88 and $77, the only difference is the order you get them in. Then by the time the Leafs come in (I have a hunch it won't be til later next week at the earliest, just because that's my hunch) you will be able to take a fresh buyout again, because I assume the Leafs will be closer in price to the Jopens than to the Uma/Rans.

It's a good until X date but I don't know the day which poses a problem. I'm worried if I go buyout first it will expire by the time the Ran is back. Then I'll get 30% off one and I can use an affiliate code on the other for 15% off but that's it.

I do agree with your timing of the launch. So it makes sense to do the buyout first in that way.

The Leaf line starts at $120 if I remember correctly. So not quite Jopen price but not Ran/Uma either.

Totally a nerd answer, but very helpful!!

Gracie - if I can stop flip flopping on what I want to do I will likely order today. LOL! Yay for Mimi! I love my Mimi. They are launching a new one along with the Uma I hear with three buttons instead of two.
