Does any one how long the cord length is? And is it easily yankable from the computer, because there would be nothing worse than a power failure!!!

The reviews list the total cord length as about 42". It should attach like any USB device, so I wouldn't yank on it, but the 42" should give you some room

You'll probably be sitting still at the computer (with a little wriggling, yes) so there's really nothing to jerk. Just remember you can't take it with you when you get up so you can set it to the side and you'll be fine.

Also as a word of advice, they sell usb extender cords. You would just have to find the right one.
