Buying vibrator for girlfriend with insensitive clit?

Contributor: c9 c9
My girlfriend seems to have a very insensitive clit, simply doesn't expect to orgasm during a sexual encounter, and refuses oral sex. I hope to change this! Of course there will be lots of communication, but I think one of the first steps is to buy a vibrator for her and encourage her to masturbate alone and learn her body. She does have a AA powered Doc Johnson dildo that she is "meh" towards. I would like to get her something rechargeable and that can be used both during her alone time and together as a couple.
I'm thinking Lelo Gigi - it can be used for both clit and g-spot stimulation and meets my criteria. I have used one with a partner before to great success, but she had a very sensitive clit. I am just concerned about the insensitive clit issue.
Any suggestions?

I don't have it, but it just depends on the person but many women love the Hitachi wand. LELO has their Smart Wands out, I have both and like both but don't use them for those purposes. Really for a clitoral vibe, I suggest Mimi, Tango, Salsa, Touch (We-Vibe) and Life. If you are wanting something insertable, I would go for Uma.

If she has a clit of steel, I have heard that the We-Vibe Salsa is a total life saver. I have a very sensitive clitoris, so I wouldn't personally know, but that's what I'd go for.

We have actually tried the Hitachi wand. She had her panties on(me trying to be less threatening.) She said that it was right on her clit, but it just felt like a vaginal massage. This ended in a fit of laughter and me feeling quite defeated that the famed Hitachi at 5000rpms induced only laughter.

Thanks, Salsa looks really great. It's small size and high power might actually be able to hit the bullseye!

The strongest vibes I own are the Hitachi Magic Wand, Wahl 2-Speed, and We-Vibe Tango. They'd all be great for someone with a clit-o'-steel.

Tango/Salsa are the same motor and shape with only the tip and color being different. Both are excellent choices in my opinion!

I concur! Tango and Salsa are awesome. If you want to go the wand route, the hitachi, mystic, and Lelo smart wands are all great options.

Break out the Hitachi. As much as the Gigi is nice, it is expensive and the Hitachi is a bit cheaper and more renowned for working.
