In my experience, strap-on vibes have a tendency to slip out of the "money spot" pretty easily, and wearing it under your clothes might make it hard to re-adjust.

we find it too big and bulky even for loose jeans and a little awkward even under a skirt.

It really depends. Once you get the straps adjusted correctly, the fit is good, but if you start doing some considerable moving around, an adjustment here nor there will be needed. Also, depending on your preference, to get to the the big O you may need to hold it in just the right spot. All in all it is a great toy though.
