just wanted to know if the battery drains really fast. i'm thinking about getting it.

The battery in the egg will drain in a day or so if you don't take it out when not in use. It doesn't seem to drain quickly from general use, though.

The batteries in the remote last a long time, however you need to take the ones in the egg out anytime you aren't using it. Mine lasted about a week or two in the egg without being used.
