While I prefer a vibrator over a dildo, my favorite is using a combination of toys, ie a dildo for internal stimulation and a vibrator for external stimulation.

Ever since acquiring my favorite vibe, I find I'm even less inclined to try new vibrating toys, while I've been fascinated by anything that does something other than vibrate ever since I started buying toys.

At first, I guess I felt that vibrations were vibrations, and one was as good as the other, and when I was proved wrong, I was proved wrong by a toy that is just so very good I can't imagine better.

Actually, I own several great vibes -- the Lelo Gigi, the Lelo Ina, the Fun Factory Gigilo -- which prove that 'one is as good as the next' idea wrong, but it's the Jimmy Jane Little Steel that amazes me the most. At first, it doesn't feel as strong as those others, but then an endless string of amazing multiples prove that they really did find the perfect frequency.

My other favorite toys are the Sasi, which technically does have the ability to vibrate, but I never use that function, the Fun Factory Curve, and the Alumina Revolve. Those all really prove that vibration is so not necessary.

In summary, I'm going to land on 65/35 in favor of non-vibrating toys when I'm shopping.
