Looking at this vibrator in particular, would you go/not go with it because of aesthetics, or would you go for functionality first?
Aesthetics or Function?

I have always been about functionality, and if something looks pretty but doesn't work, why waste the money? I have some pretty butt-ugly toys and they have worked wonders for me just fine.
Thing is, not sure if something like that would work for me anyway...

Function over form any day.
Once it's in use, I can't really see it, anyway, and if it's really rocking my world I doubt my partner will much mind that she's using an ugly toy on me!
On a slightly tangental note, I think that vibrator is kind of cool-looking and I intend to have one of my own!

I certainly appreciate aesthetics, but functionality definitely takes precedence. Besides, I am with DeliciousSurprise. I think this toy looks pretty interesting. I wouldn't call it ugly. I wish they had made the clitoral stimulator arm a bit longer though, just so you could have constant clit stimulation/rubbing as you thrust. How awesome would that be?

I would go with it for both. Looks unique.

Yeah, me too. It's a dual stimulator, so of course I want to try it.

The cool look make me want to try it, but that fact that it's a dual stimulator (one of my favorite types of toy) make me want to try it even more.

Function first. Regardless of how good it looks, if it's ineffective, it was a waste.

I actually kind of like the look of this one.

If it works well, then why not? I'm more concerned about material than aesthetics.
