Personally I think it's important, I'm always scared of getting lube or bodily fluids in the wrong places on non-waterproof toys! :/ And it's nice to be able to take them in the shower, and wash them in the sink. I get so disappointed when I find out that toys I want aren't waterproof, I wish there was some sort of universal waterproof toy cover out there!

Very important...I only buy waterproof vibrators.

I don't use toys in the bath or shower, but I prefer waterproof toys for ease in cleaning and less worry about lube and bodily fluids. It's not an absolute deal breaker though.

Not real important to me I use them 99% of the time in bed and the hubby cleans them.

I like waterproof toys, but like Solitudnarian, I don't use them in the bath really. I just like them to be waterproof because they are easier to clean. And more than likely they are rechargeable if they are waterproof.

It would always be a very big plus, however, other design aspects are usually more important.

it's really important to us since, we like squirting
01/27/2013
It depends on the toy, but I do prefer it to be waterproof.

I think of it as a plus for us. We don't use them in the shower or bath, at least I haven't yet.

It's nice, and it kind of sucks if a toy's expensive but not waterproof - but it won't make or break my decision.

its nice for cleaning.

It's nice to have waterproof toys but I don't just buy them. If a toy I want is waterproof it's just an added bonus.

It's pretty important but it's not always a deal breaker. It's becoming more important to me though. I like knowing that I won't accidentally get it wet and kill it while playing. I am planning on getting the eroscillator at some point and it's not waterproof.

I totally agree! It's not because I'm going to use it in the shower/tub (I actually dislike that) but it's got to be waterproof for cleaning and lube/fluids.
01/27/2013
It's not a dealbreaker, but I like waterproof for piece of mind. It's just added security.
01/27/2013
it doesn't really matter to me.

It's very important to me. Especially if it's a more expensive vibe I expect it to be fully waterproof, not just splash proof. If it's not, I'm likely to get something else.

A toy has to be really, really special (like the Jopen Intensity) for me to not mind it not being waterproof. Easy cleanup is a super high priority to me, and I would hate to ruin something by squirting.

Cat E.
It's not important at all. I have no interest in using a toy in the shower/tub.
01/27/2013
I pretty much always buy waterproof toys.

It's not a huge deal if it isn't waterproof.
01/28/2013
Kinda, but not a deal breaker.

It's all about easy clean up - waterproof has become a must have for us.

When it comes down to it I think it depends on how badly I want the toy.
01/28/2013
Definitely not one of my first considerations but it's always a bonus!
01/28/2013
I prefer waterproof for easy maintenance and tub/shower pay but non-waterproof is good for me too. I do't always enjoy myself in the water but the cleanup is easier if it is waterproof.
