Liberator-Oh the possibilities!

Contributor: MamaDivine MamaDivine 03/08/2012

OK, so I have been examining (and I mean SERIOUSLY examining) each piece of the Liberator line. Good LORD do they have too much to choose from! LOL. This is a good thing, but seriously making my eyes and head hurt trying to figure out which one would be best for us. So, it has come down to a few different ones.....I need some help here.

Partner and I really want to get the combo. 1. It will be a while before I can afford that one and 2. that Leaves us two pieces that we have to keep track of or store. So, I was wondering if we went with the regular 1 piece ramps, which one would be the better option? Theres only slight price differences and I can't tell what the "best/better" option is...they all pretty much look the same to me. is there any difference between them as far as what one can do better than the other?

The ramp/wedge combo would give you the best number of options, and the most flexibility in terms of adjusting it to fit you.

Ramp among these three, I would get the cuffed Wedge-Ramp though... ^^

As someone who owns the wedge/ramp combo, I'd highly suggest that. You can use one or both easily and the positions you're able to use are really great. I would recommend that because of the multitude of options involved.

If you have both the funds and the storage space, I'd definitely go with the combo.

The ramp!

The combo is awesome...we've had our Wedge/Ramp combo for almost 6 years now! The ramp is HUGE though, so make sure you plan ahead for storage, it takes up half of a standard size closet's floor space! Hopefully they still come with the "convenient travel bags", but I haven't looked here yet and have not seen mention of the bag on reviews I have glanced over. But, the bag really makes storage much easier! Also, it helps to "disguise" the ramp a little...with the slick cover on, many a child has used ours as a mini "slide" to play on! Of course, out of the cover, they think it's an awesome leopard print lounge chair for watching TV on to...

combo wedge/ramp is most versatile.

The combo ramp/wedge is the best. If you are only going to buy one, I would suggest the wedge.

Ok, so we have decided that for now, we're going to get the flip ramp. It has only one piece to keep track of in our tiny apartment. Until we get our own, larger place...then we may be investing in a combo. We'll see how well the flip ramp works for us. Thanks for all the input everyone!

We decided that, because we have no storage space for it, that we'll just use it in the livingroom for now. I have an area behind the recliner that isn't storing anything, and because its "discreet" no one will think twice about what its used for. Heck, the kids and us can lay on it to watch movies on family movie night, if we wanted to lol.. After its been washed of course lol!

While I haven't used any of these, unfortunately, I'd buy the wedge/ramp combo in a heartbeat. From what I've read, they allow the greatest amount of possible positions vs the others.

I am not a fan of the Flip Ramp. However, I am in the minority.

What is the difference between the Jaz and the regular Wedge? They look the same to me, minus a slight variation in size. Is that all?

Jaz has a rounded top but you can't really see it on the pictures.

There are 2 of those, one more round (pink in the video) and the other (blue, which I think EF sells). link

They are more fun in colors and more travel sized than the regular wedge. I think I'll get a small Jaz someday..

They are very similar. The jaz is smaller so more portable. The cover on the jaz is a different material than most liberators. It is microsuede which I think is nice because it does not attract lint. The microfiber on the other pieces pick up everything.

I like both the wedge and the jaz and we use them equally. If you are ever planning on getting the ramp, the wedge is the piece that will coordinate with that.

It seems, between the three (Ramp, Flip Ramp and hipster) that there is only a very slight variation in size/shape to these three items. Can anyone explain any special uses/features to any particular one for me to better decide which one would best suit us? Thanks!
