How do you store your toys?

Contributor: chicmichiw chicmichiw
Would you buy a special product for storage? Or just keep the boxes? Or maybe that's what the sock drawer's for...

We have a dresser drawer filled with nothing but toys - there is some overflow into the sock drawer too!

I have the lovely inconvenience of needing to hide mine from my nosy roommate -mom. So i use a bag hanging on the back of my door where i know she won't look. Tuck them inside and throw a hoodie on top inside the bag, zip her up and i'm good to go. ;D

The ones I don't use much go back in their boxes, the others go into a bedside drawer.

I have a plastic box on top of my closet where I keep them in. Thinking of possibly getting a dedicated storage with a lock, though.

I keep all my toys separated from each other with zip-lock baggies and keep them in shoe boxes under my bed.

I have under the bed bins, big plastic bins, storage ottomans - you name it! Some things I store in original packaging, some I just put in baggies.

I'm going to buy a decent footlocker and add a tray that also locks. I'll keep just basic stuff in/on the tray, and my "bench team" in the bottom of the footlocker.

The "a-team" is always going to be in the locked bedside drawer (that I've hidden a key to with a magnet under the drawer... so no searching for keys)

Right now it's make shift as its new for me this year. I have been e-shopping and been foot shopping for something more organized with drawers and shelves. My collection is growing quite rapidly.

Some in a box, the rest are in my Zini Hua box and a Close2You box. They're both wonderful for storage.

I keep my metal toys in their original boxes, my glass toys are in the padded pouches from Don Wands, and my silicone toys are in small lint free cosmetics bags. Plastic and TPR toys live in Sugar Saks, which are antimicrobial. Everything is then carefully stowed away in locking containers such as the Tunti and the Devine Playchest.

If the original packaging is substantial enough to use after opening, I try to keep my toys in it. Everything goes into a drawer under my bed though.

Everything is in its original packaging in the bottom drawer of my nightstand at the moment. I will eventually get rid of the product packaging on a few things, but for now, I don't have any alternate packaging and I don't want everything in Ziplocs.

I'm planning on making my own padded bags for my glass items, then I will make zippered pouches for all my silicone toys.

I just keep everything in the nightstand. The only thing I've stored in its original packaging is my Mustang because it is a lint fucking magnet.
