Any non-tarnishing cock rings?

Contributor: wellhungsac wellhungsac
What metal material won't tarnish and can be worn all the time?
I wear a metal cock ring only removing it in the shower. I wear the 2" size of the nickel plated 3-pack rings I get from the local sex shop and I throw out the other two (It's a waste but I'd have dozens by now if I kept them all).
I have found that after a few months of wear they tarnish and pit along the inside where they contact the skin. Is nickel poisionous?
I have tried two of the Alchemy bands the 2" fit right but was too wide to wear all the time and the 1.75" which was too small to wear but was a good width.
Any help would be appreciated

There can be such a thing as nickel poisoning, like it is said in Ehow. If you are going to be wearing those ring frequently for long periods of time like you appear to do, I would think seriously about getting a good material upgrade.

You can also consider stainless steel: Titan Mirror and Titan Brushed, but they looks quite similar to the size of the Alchemy.

There is also the more expansive silver sterling cock rings like Silver Celtic Cock Ring, but it may be a little too small and wide for you. I did not see any other one in silver on the site, except one that was too small and not in stock.

And also this product made of semi-precious stone, which looks thinner than the Alchemy band. It comes in sizes that should interest you. And in pretty colors, unless you insist on using a metal: Green Aventurine or Black Agate
I know it's more expensive, but it beats buying another set regularly.

Hope it helps you somehow

He's not the first one to mention wearing a cock ring during the day. I can't remember who, but it was mentioned in a stainless steel cock ring review.

I do wear a ring all day long. I find them to be very comfortable, they are somewhat loose unless I'm hard and I use a little petroleum jelly to keep things lubricated. I realize you don't have this problem but occasionally guys need to adjust their balls, I'm sure you have seen it happen, I find this occurs less frequently by wearing a ring and I can easily adjust myself in a very inconspicuous way.

THANKS! I appreciate the very detailed reply. I was considering the Titan Mirror but wasn't sure if the stainless would also have tarnishing problems, now that I read about nickel poisoning my mind is made.

I would go for Aventurine or Agate. They are both beautiful and from a non-tarnishing material. Or the other choice would be silicone rings. Eden has a great selection of these!

Erm... ok ... I just realised that the question was posted two years ago. So hopefully my response might be useful for someone else.
