Do pumps causing lasting effects, positive or negative? I know there is a slight size increase immediately following the pump, but I didn't know if this caused long term vascular damage that could lead to impotence in the future.

The reviews and comments I have read say they do give an increase in length and girth. Of course we don't really know for sure. And different people

I can say girth is increased a little. However when flaccid the skin folds around the head. This probaly doesn't help you. If you are asking if they are worthwhile ? Yes if you have expendable income. Wouldn't hurt. Get a good one though, like Penomet, Bath Mate or one prescribed by your urologist.

I remember hearing something about possibly capillary stress from pumps, but I don't know how much risk/long term damage they might pose.

Some years ago I was experiencing ED and was prescribed a pump by my Doc.
It was one of those that very well could even be used on a quadriplegic man so that he could have a sufficiently stiff erection to engage in intercourse.
The instructions cautioned not to leave the tension ring on for more than thirty minutes or injury/damage could occur. Those instructions were not lying. I actually bruised my cock from leaving the tension ring on too long, not even the full thirty minutes either.
As far as permanent increase... Even though I wish it would have worked that way, I did not see any.
