It's generally because they find one or two of something. Maybe something that got lost or something. This is what I was told anyway. Sorry skeeterlynn, after seeing this post that day I immediately ordered them because I was as excited as you were. Then I called customer service after you said they were gone again. I was so mad because I had just placed my order and wanted to make sure I got them. The person told me there was actually only one available and I had gotten it, which is why it went to discontinued again:/

Yeah, that's what I figured. I just hope they really bring them back later. If not, oh well. I can always get them elsewhere. I just LOVE the look of them. Haha.
