Teneo Duo vs. Smartballs

Contributor: Alan & Michele Alan & Michele
Is there any difference between the Teneo Duo Smartballs and the regular Smartballs besides the material they are made of?

From what I've noticed on the Teneo is that it has a ridge design around the balls, though you can't really feel it.

I have the smartballs and love them other than where the retrieval string meets the balls there is a bump or like nipple that pokes out that can sometimes irritate me when I am wearing them. I don't have the Tenoe Dou balls but looking at the pictures i don't think it has this bump where the string meets, which in my book would make them more comfortable.

The retrieval string is different. The Smartballs string is just string, I think, whereas the Teneo Duo's is silicone or some sort of elastic. I have the Duo and the string kinda scares me because it's so stretchy and I've heard one report of it snapping.

Thank you ladies for your input. I'm not even positive if I want a set yet, but I've heard so much about both of the Smartballs that those two are the first ones I thought of. Between the bump that miss.heather mentioned on the regulars and the string issue Epiphora pointed out on the Duos though, maybe I'd better give a closer look at the Ophorias. I'm pretty sure my parts are too sensitive to appreciate a prominent bump or being snapped

The smooth Ophoria balls might be good. I'm a big fan of Luna Beads, myself.
