Shower head reccomendations

Contributor: SilverIsis SilverIsis
My current shower head is on its last legs, no longer giving the "massage" that it used to despite spending time in it's own bath of CLR. I am looking for recommendations for a replacement. I am hoping not to spend more then $40. Any help would be appreciated.

I got a great dual shower head from Glacier Bay about a month ago for around $40 at Home Depot.

It's just over your budget (coupons!) but EF sells a dual shower head.

That looks cool potstickers and when I have a regular partner that will definitely will go on my wish list. At the moment however I am looking for a detachable one for more self play. Is Glacier Bay a brand or a model JR?

glacier bay is a home depot brand name. They work good if you have a older home and/or tub trim. If your tub valve trim is newer, try to get one that matches it. If it is older, just go to home depot or lowes and get their house brand. It should last as long as the big brand names, but cost less.

I would love to help, but shower heads have never been able to do it for me, so I have no recommendations. Sorry! I do like the hand held shower heads, but not for masturbating, just for washing my hair. Hope you can find one you like!

Thanks for the help. Since I have an older home maybe it would be better to go to ACE Hardware rather than to Bed, Bath, and Beyond where I have a coupon, especially since I doubt if I took a picture to them they would know if their shower heads would work with my tub valve trim. I'll let you all know how it goes.

any shower head will work with the shower arm coming out of the wall. they are all the same size. Since you have an older home, just go with something cheap that has the same color of trim, I would assume it is chrome. Ace, home depot, or lowes will have some cheaper models on the shelves that should work.

Don't forget to not buy something plastic. You can't screw plastic onto a metal pipe. It'll just strip the plastic.

I wish I could give better advice, but I do not know the name of mine. I've had 3 of the shower heads that detach and will reach the tub if you're taking a bath. It doesn't have anything fancy and isn't expensive. It was just a simple one from a home depot store. It does come in handy for rinsing when you don't feel up for a standing shower and could even be great for... other things! Lol. I had a cute purple and pink one years ago and loved it, but have no clue where i got it. I do love the detachable ones, but I don't know much about massaging ones.
