Sex sling and microdermal piercings...bad idea?

Contributor: irishlove irishlove
I really want to get a sex positioning sling and I was about to order one but I thought I'd ask some options first. I have dermals on the back of my neck. Does anyone thing this is a bad idea? Has anyone used one? Can you tell my if the part that's on the back of your neck moves around a lot or does it pretty much just stay in place? I'm afraid of my dermals being tugged on and irritated.

Swings
I want to get a swing but need input on how hard they are to use.

Sling or wedge?
Which is more fun in your opinion? A wedge or a sling?

How many pillows do you need to fall asleep?
I personally need 2 pillows underneath my head and one between my legs to fall asleep. I actually have a full body pillow that I slip between my legs.

If your dermals are where say, a regular nape piercing would be, then you might have a problem. It doesn't necessarily move around a lot, but it does have the potential to slip one way or the other if your leg moves funny. I'd almost be more worried about the pressure on them from the sling in general holding up the legs causing more irritation. And if they aren't completely healed yet, I wouldn't use anything like this near them for fear of them falling out. All that being said about use behind the neck, you can also slide the sling down and use it behind your shoulders rather than your neck. At least with the ones that are more like a strap for that part. The ones shaped like pillows can't do that, although they might hold in place better on the neck I think.

Wow I started rambling. I hope that didn't just get a whole lot more confusing.

This really helped, Thanks!!! I've had them for a year so they're healed but get irritated often so I was worried. Yes, they're nape piercings so you answered this perfectly! Every time I say nape people give me this "huh" reaction so I just say back of my neck hahaha. I think I'm going to order the sling and try on my shoulders & possible try it on my neck with band aids over my dermals just to hold them in a place a little more. Thank you sooo much for your reply!! You helped a whole bunch!

I'm so glad I could help! I've done a lot of research on dermals but haven't bitten the bullet for getting one yet lol. Please do make sure to let me (or us here) know how it works. Writing a review with the experience of having used it with a nape piercing at all could be really useful.
