Scented vs. non-scented massage oils, gels and candles

Contributor: Supervixen Supervixen
I personally love the way my man smells. I mean, even the, uh, sweatier parts. It smells masculine to me, and it drives me wild. He loves the way I naturally smell, both just my general scent and the scent of my arousal. When I'm choosing something like a massage oil, I want something that won't mask his scent or mine, but there seems to be so many nice looking products on the market that have to be scented. I'm sure they smell lovely. When I light candles at home, I love a good scent in the air. But when it comes to sex, I actually really just want to smell sex. How do you guys feel about it?

I find scented things can be overpowering and can dominate the senses, thus detracting from what else is going on.

I like scented things as long as they aren't floral or too strong to cause a headache.

I won't look a gift horse in the mouth if a massage is coming my way.

I'm warming up to the idea of scented massage products...but I wish there were more masculine scents, not just for him, but for me. Like, earthy or musky scents. There's too much floral, fruit, lavender and vanilla. Not really my style.

Many things to take into account but scented can be pleasant.

I like scented products and I find they enhance the experience but I could see how too strong of a scent could be bothersome.

Nonscented or really light scents, since I have a sensitive nose

I tend to get random allergic reactions to scented products used on the skin....and there isn't ANYTHING sexy about that. So none of those in my house!
