Question about Glass Ben Wa Balls

Contributor: Breas Breas
So I recently ordered my first pair of kegel exerciser balls (haven't received them yet).

I was thinking earlier today about them, and wondered, with the glass balls, wouldn't they rub against each other while inside of the body.. and with them rubbing against each other, wouldn't this potentially scrape the glass, making them unsafe to use?

I have a few glass dildos and love them... but the dildos don't rub against each other since I only use one at a time lol.

Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing, but I'd rather ask those who know more about this sort of thing then cut all my insides up. I'm a bit of a safety nerd.

Thanks!

Glass toys for beginners?
I have never used any glass toys. For some reason using them makes me nervous. Could anyone recommend some good glass toys for beginners?

I often wonder about the same thing, but then I figured maybe our natural lube might prevent that from happening?

First things, first: GRIMACE!!! *ahem*

I would think (after seeing Tim's tests on glass) that unless you were doing some sort of extreme physical activity like running a marathon, that you would be fine. They're completely smooth and round, so there isn't really anything to scrape against. Think about when you were a kid and you held marbles in your hand and swirled them around...they didn't scratch each other, they just made soft clinking sounds as they touched.

I guess that makes sense, it would just be a terrible thing to happen and I always tend to think of "well what if.." lol. Thanks Stormy : )

It would be a terrible thing to happen. I guess you could slam them into each other really hard and see what happens before you insert them? I don't want to be all "well no one would make something that would be harmful for you", but that isn't always the case as we've seen with parabens and all that jazz.
