Nipple clamps falling off. Advice?

Contributor: SweetMerry SweetMerry
I recently purchased my first set of nipple clamps, and I'm having a little trouble with them. They keep falling off!

The ones I have are the screw-type adjustable, and look kind of like jumper cables.Like the clamps on these: link. I've tried using them with the adjustment set to both loose and tight (yaoza!), but eventually they pop right off.

From what I can tell, my nipples may be a bit too large for them. Sometimes, I have a little trouble getting the clamp around the nipple. Anyone else experienced this? Any advice for either making this style work for you, or trying another style of clamp?

Thanks!

My husband had the opposite problem where his were too small for very similar clamps. We ended up getting these clamps instead and we've never had a problem with them falling off. I know it's not the most helpful advice ever, but it's at least a suggestion of what you can try next!

Clover Leaf clamps should stay on through most activities. I find that we simply can't have face to face PIV or any activity where I am face down with tweezer clamps on, they just can't stay on.

Here are what Clover Leafs look like:

These are beautiful! I may have to work up to them, as the description indicated that they can be a little intense. But, I'll keep them in mind, for sure.

It helps to pull the nipple out slightly and clamp the base of the nipple - not the nipple itself or the breast, but the base. It also helps to do it when the nipple is erect because it tends to be smaller than when non-erect.

I've gotten to the point in which I can pull hard on my tether with my teeth and they won't pop off.

Yes, they are more intense than tweezer clamps. Also, what Chili said is great. The clamp needs to be right at the base of the nipple where the tissue turns into areola. There's a simulated demonstration in the video of my review on the Fresh Nipple Clamps. This is a video of tweezer clamps on a breast model, but the technique is the same for either kind.

Thanks for the tip. I'm getting a bit better at it. I've found that mine stay on longer if I put them on facing directly towards the nipple, instead of trying to pinch from underneath. The pincher has a bit of an arch or "bow legged" look to it, and the tip of the nipple fits snugly in that arch. And yes, erect and tugging helps a bunch.

Oh, great video! I'm thinking the tweezer style may be my next clamp purchase. I like the wide range of adjustability that it looks like they have.

Update: Well, I've now tried two more styles of clamps: these tweezer clamps and these tit clamps. Both of them are staying on just fine (unless I tug on the tweezers roughly), but boy-howdy there's a difference in feel. I can barely tell the tweezers are on unless I play with them. The spring loaded tit clamps, however, pack quite a pinch for my beginner nipples! I'm glad I got both, and now have a couple of different options for both style and clampage.
