I am looking into buying my first vaginal exerciser, but I don't know which one. I like the look of them all, but I have no experience in this department. I want something comfortable for long-term wear. Help!

Helpful topic info on Ben wa balls:
Kegel balls seem to have caused an infection! Anybody had that happen?
Have ya'll had ingections after using kegel balls? It appears I have a problem and I'm really thinking it happened because of my Lelo Mini Luna beads!
Whats your favorite Kegel exerciser?
I am trying to choose a new kegel exerciser. Any ideas?
Anyone have experience with benwa balls?
ladies, I have never used benwa balls. Please explain what type of pleasure should I expect? Are they fun for the user or only a exercise?
Breathable Ball Gag - would you use it?
i think it would be perfect for me. i cant do a solid ball....who else cant?
If you won the Powerball, would you tell the public?
I just seen on the news that ABC has been trying to track down the man who won the other half of the Powerball this week. It was freaky and awkward to

Well, the Emigi has been consistently praised as a good beginner kegel exerciser that can be easily worn long term. The Smart Balls are quite a big bigger, but also fairly effective, and the Smartballs Teneo Duo is supposed to be even better. If the Duo looks too big, the Uno is a nice one too. I've also heard pretty fantastic things about the Lelo beads, as well as the Ami. I've only got the Emigi and the Smart Balls for right now, but I'm planning on getting the Uno, the Lelo beads, and possibly the Ami sometime in the relatively near future.
Best of luck on your search!

Thank you so much. I have had the Smartballs and the Ami on my wish list for a while now. I just have to choose. Hopefully the one I choose will be the right one. Again thanks for your opinion. I am sure it will help me out in the future.

I love my Smart Balls. They are the right fit and the right shape and perfect for my body.
Read the reviews on the ones you are looking for so you can choose the exerciser that works for you.

Can kegels be for anyone?

Yeah, sure. Never too soon to strengthen PC and vaginal muscles. You don't have to have had a child.

I guess, moreso I hear that women who had kids do kegels, but I've never had kids, so will they benefit me?

I have two kids and haven't ever used one of these. I've been interested though. Why would they benefit me more since I've had kids?

i have the leopard Duotone Balls they are nice, but you dont need anything to do your kegels

I have the Luna Beads and I really like them. The Emigi and Ami also seem to be popular.

What are your feelings about the glass balls?

So basically, your PC floor muscles can weaken with pregnancy and child birth. This can lead to prolapse and/or incontinence.

I have the Emigi and I love it. I wear that little sucker to work and everything

I just ordered my first one last week and I ended up going with the Ami. I picked the Ami set because they are silicone, come in a set of 3 and they have removal chords. I figured since I don't really know what sized exerciser will work best for me having options would be good. One of the three has to fit comfortably right?
I like the look of the Emigi too though
Balls without chords make me nervous quite frankly. :/
Good luck with your search!! Let us know which one you go with

I just bought the Ami, I'll let you know how I like 'em when they get here. I've used standard metal Ben-Wa balls, I'm excited to see if there's much of a difference.

I have Emigi, I brought it because I too am a novice in the world of kegel exercises. From EF reviews, it seemed like the best one to start with...and it is a great price, too. I am glad I went with it, and it's definitely lived up to its reputation as being easy and comfortable. Also, what's great about Emigi is the antimicrobial layer it has.
Now I have my eye on the Lelo Luna Balls. A purchase I shall make in the future, when I'm ready to move up the kegel ladder.
Good luck with your search
@ Lucidity, I'll be keeping my eyes out for your Ami review as they're on my wish list, too -- yeah, my PC muscles need all the help they can get

I think I have finally come to a decision. After reading all of your comments and talking with my husband about the different types of exercisers out there, I have chose the Ami. I agree with Alyjazz. At least one out of the three should fit my body perfectly. Honestly, I like those odds. I might even get lucky and enjoy all three. I will purchase these in the next couple of days, try them out for a while, and then write a review to let everyone know how it worked.
I want to thank everyone who commented. You have been a tremendous help.

I had this same question, thanks!

I would seriously suggest Kegels before getting any of the weighted vaginal balls. Simply because if you are using the balls for the first time, you might not be able to hold them in very well for a long time. If you do kegels quite a bit, then I would suggest the smartballs. I haven't used them before, But I hear good things about them. Start with something medium sized and light weight. Then gradually build up to the bigger ones.
