Im new to the world of erotic massages but my partner wants to try it. We don't want to spend too much before we know if we will like it. Which would you recommend? I hate vanilla and orange scented products. We don't have any allergies but we do like paraben free products.

Sensuous Massage Oil is a good and inexpensive oil if you're looking to try. It has a lightly sweet scent, although it's not at all overpowering. I was looking for an oil with a somewhat gender neutral scent, nothing overly sweet or floral. Personally, I think it smells like cake batter, but again not overwhelmingly sweet.

I just bought a massage oil that I really love. It's non-greasy, absorbs into the skin leaving it super soft and the smell is HEAVEN. It's called Kukui oil and the company that makes it is Alba Botanica. Unfortunately, you cant buy it on EF but it's available in health food stores. I got mine on Vitacost.com.

All of these options look promising. I really would like a oil since my home is covered in candles already. The amber and pomegranate sound delish!

The Sensuous oil that Kindred linked to is a great one. I don't get a cake batter scent from it, but I do still think it's a great one. Shunga's got some great oils too if you like more candy like smells. I only have experience with the vanilla (that you won't want) and the fruit (which smells like juicy fruit) although once I'm out I'll be buying another scent. If you prefer more earthy scents, the Kama Sutra oils are pretty decent as well. If you decide that you don't like these for massaging, they do also make good moisturizers.

Sensuous Massage Oil is awesome, I agree with those who recommended it It has a nice aroma like sweet vanilla or candy, which is not overwhelming at all. I even use it instead of perfume sometimes - I just rub some of it where I usually apply perfume.

Imconfused now. I. Have read lots of reviews saying sensous is vanilla scented and I can't stand that scent. Any other products close to that price point worth giving a shot?

I do like candy or fruity scents that aren't overly strong.

I guess I don't really associate the scent with vanilla. I guess it does have some hints of vanilla, but the scent is much more complex than that. There are hints of almond and some lightly spicy notes. Plus, the scent will be slightly different for everyone as it is applied. I think it is potentially still worth trying.

Alternatives would be the Shunga line. They make decent oils but to me are way to strong and sweet or floral. I prefer more gender neutral scents.
I've also used the Sensual oil in the Healing Blend scent which is earthy and smells of evergreens. Unfortunately, their scent names are not helpful so you will have to read reviews to find what each one smells like.
If you're willing to spend some money, the JimmyJane Afterglow an Special Edition massage candles are fantastic. The scents are mature and complex, not at all candy sweet. They are great to use for massages because of the warmed oil, but they are quite pricey for the amount you get.
If you're more interested in experiencing the massage aspect, you could first try with using either a silicone lube or coconut oil purchased at a health food store. However, they won't have a scent.

We've tried a number of the massage oils and candles Eden carries. We think (my husband and I) that the JimmyJane Afterglow Massage Candle is the best of the bunch. I recommend the sampler set to start, so you can decide which scent you like. You get six scents for a good price and they are on sale now!
We also like the Hathor Exotic Oil as a massage oil. My husband loves how it relaxes his muscles and I even use it on one of my little ones who has a problem with muscle spasms due to a neurological disorder. The herbs in this oil really help relax spasming muscles. Both my husband and my youngest child swear by it. It smells good, too.
Good luck.

I think I'm gonna save up some points for the JJ sampler. I would rather get the best to avoidtrying a buying tons that I don't like. Thanks guys!
