Which do you prefer and why? I'm wanting to try glass for the first time and am curious if it will be worth it for me.

Captivating topic discussions on Glass dildo:
Pros and cons of glass vs metal?
What are the pros and cons of glass vs metal? Which do you prefer?
How are glass dildos so inexpensive?
For blown (no pun intended) glass, I feel like they would be more expensive! I guess they're not done by hand (more puns!)
Are glass toys the best?
i keep hearing that glass is the best, im sort of scared lol
glass
how well do ya think the handle will hold up on this?
Glass toy opinions
I'd like to try a glass toy, but glass kinda scares me. What are your opions of glass toys?

silicone bends to your body shape, glass does not. But silicone has a lot of drag to it during use, glass will slide very easy with just a touch of lube. It all depends on what you are looking for in a toy. You might want to look into stainless steel toys. If you are worried about the glass holding up.

Glass toys look pretty, but silicone is more comfortable in the body.

I always enjoy the glass toys that I get. Silicone toys have to be just right for me to like them. A lot of them are too big and hard and have too much drag. Although I recently got the Spur vixskin, which is awesome.

Silicone I like the feel of it better but glass isn't bad.

Silicone! Very safe and "goes" with the body better. Don't gotta worry about it bumping up against your insides/bone like glass can. I love my Vixskin Mustang. Soft and more realistic. Glass can't adjust to the body like silicone can.
I agree, glass IS prettier and you can use all lubes with it but I would use water based lubes anyway.

Silicone, it's just much more flexible for the body

Silicone, because it's flexible.

Silicone always my favorite because its not only very easy maintenance but vibrating toys feel extra special to me in silicone. That being said, I like glass also especially used with other silicone toys. I often use my glass eggs with the Ultra Heat lube on them for extra stimulation when using my Jopen Vr6.5. Silicone is very forgiving against your body where glass isn't. For a first glass dilido I would recommend the Bent Graduate or Amethyst that way you can use it as a glass dildo or a G spotter. Oh and I use the Ultra heat on my Bent Graduate too for extra stimulation but that's my preference.

Silicone for sure.

For the most part my toys are silicone because there is give to them and if my partner is using them on me I don't have to worry about "if he accidentally gets rough bruising me." While bruising is still possible with silicone, it is softer an has give where as glass doesn't. I have a great glass collection as well which is great for temp play. Overall though I prefer silicone.

Silicone usually has some give to it, so you can't hurt yourself if you get too rough like you can with glass... And if you drop it on the floor, it won't break

I like both, but prefer silicone.

Eden carries a lot of inexpensive glass toys. You should just go for it and try them for yourself. It's a different sensation than silicone, but I do love both.

Silicone mainly because there aren't really many good glass vibrators, and I do so love vibrators.

Silicone, because I prefer vibrators and I like the give that silicone has, whereas glass is stiff and not always comfortable. Also glass vibrators are WAY too noisy and rattly.
I do like glass though, I think it can be fun if you get the right toy and it's very easy to clean, compatible with all lubes, and there's less drag than there is with silicone, and you can heat them up or cool them down for temperature play. I usually only use my glass toys anally, though.
I think it really depends what you want to get out of the toy. Both are great, just in different ways.

I like silicone better but glass is fun as well

I prefer silicone because it bends to the shape of my body.
