I make my own silk bags.
In terms of other storage I take some plastic bins and load them with glitter/sequins/lace and skull sticker/spins ex. . .

I've never made anything myself, but I use a box I got from the dollar store, lol.

I purchased a great apothecary chest that is actually 3 feet tall, I use it as a night stand. It has 9 drawers three across and three down for a total of 9. Each drawer is approximately the size of the old Vhs tapes and I keep all my toys, batteries, lubes and such in the drawers. I can keep some of my nicer toys in their boxes. I do have a friend making me some nice satin padded bags with cording closures on them.

I bought a really pretty storage box from big lots that is pink and black with a big black bow. It fits everything perfectly!

This is exactly what I have been looking for and didn't know it! Thank you for the idea.

I don't have any storage solutions yet. I keep a lot of mine in my lingerie drawers, some in bags or shoe boxes on the shelf of my closet, but other than that that's it. I'll eventually need something that's locakable when the boys are older.

I never did before, but with SO MANY and now building an adult playroom, our designer has come up with some GREAT ideas. One is a shelf which is going to be either plastic coated metal or just stainless steel, where we can lay our dildo's with a UV light above and below, so that they get UV sterilized between uses (this will be in a dedicated TOY CLOSET...UV light only goes on for a set interval when switched on...with door closed). Also creating a pegboard type holder for toys with separate wire controls, so they have a curved "cradle" for the toy,and a loop for the wire, and another cradle for the controller.

We will also have a long, around the room, power strip, so any number of toys that use AC or recharger's, can stay plugged in.

Right now, we use large aluminum DVD cases (all sizes available) from eBay. They are CHEAP, LARGE, LOCK and are durable, and stack. We have toys all over the place...all our drawers, in storage bags, and closets..etc. Overwhelming.

Right now, everything lives in my sock drawer. A couple more toys and I'll probably have to relocate - the socks are getting crowded as it is!

I'm planning on doing a few pouches for my current and future toys. I have a some fabric set aside for it, now I just need to find the time for it. I store my toys in a storage box from Ikea.

I use this storage drawer/bin thing I got from target, it has cubes that fit stack together and shelves that fit inside of the cubes and you can put on different levels, then they have sorts of different size containers that fit into the cubes as drawers, so I have large drawers, small drawers, deep drawers and short drawers. I sort things and put then in the appropriate places. I think the intent was dorm room storage, but it fits in my closet nicely under hanging toys and I can store ALOT of toys in there. I use to use a under the bed shoe storage container but my collection out grew that.

I am not crafty at all so I don't make anything. I buy everything I use for storage and then put everything in a drawer.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Is this something your designer is experienced in?

Is this for glass toys only? Otherwise is there enough reflected UV in the cabinet to reach all surfaces and kill all organisms on an opaque toy? If not everything is glass, you don't mention how the UV light is going to reach the bottom of a dildo sitting on a stainless steel shelf, despite there being a light below. Any silicone or other toys may also be gradually damaged by the UV.

Interesting considerations... I'd love to hear how this turns out.

I plan on devising something in the future. My collection is practically non-existant at the moment, so it's not really an issue yet.

Yet.

I do this too! Just temporarily though. I have plans to make some more permanent storage soon. I do make my own bags in the meantime!

I haven't yet, but I've been working up some design ideas for a storage bag with different padded pockets for different toys. Possibly something to be hung over the back of the closet door?
