Problems breathing when wearing a gag?

This may seem weird, but I am very claustrophobic so I have to ask. Anyone with any experience, do you have problems breathing while wearing a ball gag? Can you breathe from your mouth as well as your nose? I have no problem with the restraint part, tie me up, tie me down. It is just the breathing. haha I even sound panicky asking the question. Any experienced advice would be great. This would be so much fun to add to our toy box!

You can sorta bite down on the gag and get suction in from the sides of your mouth and in between your teeth. So yeah, you can still breathe through your mouth with one on. If you're super concerned about it, they make breathable ball gags. Bad part is most all of them are made of rubber, which tastes and smells gross.

Oh, also! You can get one with an emergency release. Don't use it tied up the first few times. If you start to panic, just snap the emergency release on it and it comes off in a second.

Kira,
Thanks for the help! I like the idea of the emergency release. Great idea. I may have to suck it up and give it a try.

If you are claustrophobic this might not be the realm of toys you want to go with, although its not space threatening it does add a bit of anxiety I suppose
