Silicone is my favorite toy material but you can't use it with silicone lube.

Water-based, because it's not going to hurt any of my toys. Though I do use oil-based when I bring my silicone toys into the shower.

I use a lot of glass and steel toys. I love silicone for masturbation and anal play. I do love me some premium silicone toys too, so water based lubes are a necessary evil for me. I've yet to find a water lube that came close to the awesomeness of my beloved Gun Oil.

I like oil based lubes alot, that would be my first choice... but in terms of use with toys - silicone and water based are the way to go!

I'm most likely to keep water-based on hand, because it can be used with condoms and any kind of toy. Silicone-based is nice for handjobs though!
