I usually feel especially lazy after I finish masturbating and cleaning feels like the last thing on my to-do list. Is there any danger associated with leaving my toys sit for a while before cleaning? I use mostly glass and metal.

Should I clean toys immediately after use?

For glass and metal? No, there is no problem, just be sure to really wash them extra well later and sanitize them. I would say for silicone, if you use it anally, don't put off washing because a smell can set in on it that is really hard to impossible to remove (I've read that on several different reviews). Anything else, if it's at all porous, please wash and the more porous it is, the more important it is to wash fast. You know, you can keep some sex toy wipes by you when masturbating and do a quick wipe down, then clean later.

What about high quality silicone being used vaginally? Like Tantus or Lelo. Should I wash those immediately?

For the ones you mention, you don't have to, although a quick wipe is better than nothing. But, since they can be sanitized by boiling, bleach solution, or antibacterial cleaners, I personally don't always clean them right away and I have never had a problem. They do not harbor pathogens, so even if some grow on the surface, they can be removed. Just remember smells can linger, though I've never had a problem with that.

I keep a pack of wipes by my bed and use them following any usage, when I get up the next morning I give them a more thorough cleaning and put them away.

I don't want to clean them right away. I use only silicone toys now so I'm not concerned about them. I prefer to bask in the experience I just had before having to get on w/ whatever.

Thank you! That's what I thought, but I wanted to confirm. I plan to use baby wipes as soon as I purchase them for a quick clean after use and then give my toys a more thorough clean later.

We never take a chance with our toys. It may not be immediately afterwards but we try to do it as quick as possible.

Sooner is always better than later no matter what the toy is. But keep toy wipes on hand in case you don't get to it right away.

We always clean up after we're done.

I've always cleaned up my toys the minute I'm able to get up seeing as sometimes I'm left unable to move for a bit X'D But the minute I'm stable I clean them.

We clean as soon as we get a chance.
