We were recently given a leather gag as a present. It has a small leather protrusion that would go in the mouth of the person who is gagged. My question is how this leather part could ever be cleaned/sanitized? We don't want to ruin it, but we don't want to use it if it isn't clean. Any ideas?

It cannot be sanitized unless left alone for a given amount of time (I think that six months is the area of time given or so?) It can be cleaned, however, with leather cleaning solution or lightly washed with a damp towel that's soaped up with a sensitive soap, and then completely dried.
