Is Vixskin silicone?

I always thought it was silicone, but EF's description makes me wonder:

Insightful topic debates on Silicone Dildo:

Is it ok to use silicone lube on a toy thats very high grade silicone?
I've been hearing mixed things. I imagine there's a split on the issue.

Rubber v TPR v Silicone
Which one do you like best and why?

Cleaning silicone toys by boiling...
how long do i boil dildos for? is it different depending on the material? if they have motors and i just 'dip' half the toy in how safe is it?

Tackiness of silicone
What is it that makes some silicone toys attract lint more readily than others?

Realistic silicone
I love your realistic dildos, any chance you guys will be making similar ones in silicone? Thanks!

Still waiting for Al to get a job at this point, so our toy buying has dropped to cheapie things only. He's at a weird age-- old enough that employers are hesitating to take him on in the field, but too young to retire, so it's causing problems. I'll get one ASAP though

Does anyone know why the VixSkin gets that sort of tacky feel to it? It's strange. Johnny seems to get somewhat sticky but it doesn't melt and it goes away as soon as I rinse him. I have also read others' reviews about this strange tackiness.

It's just the nature of softer silicone, your best bet it to wash it before and after use.. I know it seems like alot of work, but it's totally worth itttttttt

I was slightly worried about my vixskin line being sticky. I use water-based lubes religiously but still am wary at times. It eased my mind entirely checking this thread. It had been so long since I got my last vixskin toy I didn't remember if it was slightly tacky to begin with.

PHEW! No worries here.

Is there any way to make it less sticky? Can you put cornstarch on it?

Interesting. I'd thought it was just another type of realistic dildo with questionable materials (the realistic one I have causes a slight burning sensation after I use it and so did a jelly toy I bought, so I'm wary about materials), but now I might look into it.
