Are there any materials that you refuse to buy?

Contributor: Nazaress Nazaress
I won't normally buy certain materials (such as jelly, etc.) but if I'm just buying a cheap, throwaway toy (like a beginner's vibrating anal toy), I'll likely get it in a material I don't like to save money since it'll eventually be thrown away, anyway.

Are there any materials, for whatever reason, that you absolutely refuse to get, even under certain circumstances? Or are you like me and depending on the use, you might get something you don't really like?

Rubber and jelly. Actually, I don't buy anything but silicone, glass, wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic these days.

I wouldn't buy latex because I'm sensitive to it.

I only buy silicone, metal, glass, plastic, and wood. I'll accept TRP if it's an assignment. Anything below that is a no. I do have one rubber toy right now as an assignment but it's an external toy so I'm slightly less bothered by the material. Jelly and latex are absolute no because both make me burn.

I have a couple jelly items but don't really use them that often. I prefer silicone and glass. I don't have any metal yet. Plastics ok too.

I won't refuse an assignment that is a lower safety rating material, but I'll purchase condoms with it. However, I refuse to buy them myself. I wish there were silicone and jelly options for all toys, because some of the Jelly toys look nice.

I have a jelly toy bought long ago, but I wouldn't buy anymore. I prefer silicone and glass.

I use the material safety scale EF provides for us. Yeah for EF! I won't buy anything less than a 6. Mostly use silicone or glass. I have a few plastic things. One day I want to try the pure wand and see what metal is like.

I won't buy anything that can't be thoroughly disinfected. So that basically limits me to silicon, metal glass, and plastic. ... And probably other things that are also safe but that I'm not familiar with yet.

I usually limit myself to silicone, glass, stainless steel, and ceramic. However plastic does slip into my choices from time to time.
