A lot of realistic dildos (dildoes?) on Eden are available only in Caucasian coloring. How hard can it be to add some brown to the mix?
My boyfriend is Mexican, and I'd like for his 'surrogate cock' to look a bit more like him.
Just a small complaint.

Anybody else have a problem with the lack of brown and black toys?

I want nothing to do with realistic cocks (I mean, I wouldn't shy away from one if it was really good, on sale, given to me, etc. but I definitely won't actively look for one) because I prefer the ladies greatly and my boyfriend's cock is the only one I want. HOWEVER, I definitely think that there should be other skin tons available. I'm so tired of this Caucasian-normative thought pattern that the world has. There are other people than white people and Caucasian shouldn't be the "default" of everything.

All of VixSkin's realistic models come in "vanilla," "caramel," and "chocolate," although the vanilla is pretty pale and the caramel works fine for caucasians, I don't have enough experience with Latino lovers to know whether the caramel would work for that too. Check them out, though!

I just checked out those products and I don't know about other people but as a Caucasian person, the "Caramel" is definitely NOT me. The "Vanilla" does match me quite a bit more, though my skin has a bit of a yellowish tint to it rather than a pink tint. If that makes me a pale person, so be it. I can see the "caramel" matching tan white people but that's not actually their skin tone. Your skin tone is what you are when you have a healthy amount of sun, not less to make you very pale or more to make you a tanner color. But maybe that's just me.

Anyway, I digress. At least there's one brand that tries to serve a wider range of people, even if they aren't able to get everyone (with the uniqueness of everyone in the world, it'd be impossible).

There should be more skin tones available to people who want them, I personally have never liked the look of a realistic dildo. Don't know why, just always found them odd.

True. And I'm definitely on the pale side (check out my video reviews), but a penis is generally darker in color than the rest of a person's skin. At least, my caramel Lone Star looks about right next to my pale legs. It's still a smidgen darker than the cocks of Nordic-descent partners I've had, but paler than Italian-descent partners I've had. . I don't have and haven't seen a vanilla VixSkin dildo in person, but just from the product pictures they look more pale than any human penis I've seen.

Aside from taking baths with my brother when we were really little, I've never seen a penis up close (it's a boring life I lead at times), but I have seen pictures and videos of pale guys with equally pale penises. I guess it's a largely individual thing.

Like the VixSkin dildos, some of Tantus's O2 line comes in a range of natural colors. I also did a search of realistic dildos with darker coloration - maybe one of them will fit the bill?

I find it odd that the realistic silicone dildos have a uniform color rather than have the heads be a different shade or have veins slightly painted blue. I'd like to see some truly realistic silicone toys.

This.

My caramel Mustang is the same color as my legs, my actual penis is much darker.

Personally I hate the chocolate color that VixSkin comes in, at least in pictures. It just makes me think of actual chocolate and the mess it would make to use a chocolate dildo

Also this. But I guess it would freak out a lot of people to see a really dark shaft and a purple red head on a dildo.

This is why I'm a fan of blue, green, and solid black toys. There are so many skin tones, it'd be very cost-prohibitive for companies to do them all.

I'd be down with this as well... I can understand why they don't (I mean, a lot of the coloring on the non-silicone realistics apparently washes off after a few uses? ew) but if it was possible to get really realistic silicone, with colers that weren't leaching off inside me, I'd be a happy camper.

It's usually the cyberskin cocks that lack color choice... VixSkin and O2 atleast give options, although as others have pointed out, they could do a better job of making their coloring a bit darker and realistic
