When I was younger (about 12) I first started TRULY noticing the female specimen. It just so happens that the first few specimens that I had seen were of all different sizes. I leaned however towards the older and curvier girls. Now because of that I have been able to appreciate EVERY type of body, some just more than others.

I'm not sure if there's a real trend or not, guess I don't pay enough attention. It's always been presented to me that liking big women was a specific fetish. So there's always been some but it wasn't necessarily 'mainstream'. But if it's moving to more standard, then can't say it's a bad thing.

I hate when people (and magazines) present certain body types as trends like "big belly is out" or "the hourglass figure is hot this season". This is just a recipe for unhealthy body attitudes.

Wow---I've never heard "the hourglass figure is hot this season"... where do you get your newsreels? I'm going to avoid them like the plague! That's ... losing or gaining 5-10 pounds isn't beyond most people's reach, but I have big hips /ass and a tiny waist, and trying to change that (believe me, I have a stupid duck-footed walk because when I was a teenager I was mortified of my butt drawing attention when I walked), I finally accepted, will get me nowhere.

My mom has the exact same figure but no boobs to speak of, because when she was in college she was anorexic, and her boobs never came back. Her ass never diminished even a little bit, though. So I at least have had a warning not to try to take matters into my own hands.

How anybody would ever say "x body type is good for the next three months..." kind of makes my stomach flip over. I hope you stopped buying that magazine or watching that tv show or whatever it was.

I love curvy women, and have never been ashamed of it either. If a person is in good health, shows no warning signs for the future, has good mobility and is comfortable in their body then there is no problem.

I don't really agree with the fact that liking bigger women has become a trend per se.. More along the lines that guys who enjoy / are sexually attracted to bigger women are letting that fact be more known, and being generally more open about it.

I am 29 and I have known for quite a long time, since I was 17 that I loved curvier / more voluptuous women.

I think as more big girls start to realize that guys are / can be attracted to them.. that this 'trend' so to speak will catch on even more.

There are all kinds of reasons bigger women are better mind you too, other than just their physical features.

Just my two cents

I think the media can go too far, but i don't want a girl who weighs more than me in bed. Just my preference, she can have curves, but still needs to be smaller than me.
